Daphne started her professional journey as a fitness instructor and rehab movement coach in 2008. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiotherapy and is an internationally licensed personal trainer for over 10 years now, awarded by American Council on Exercise and Personal Training Academy Global. Locally, she is a Level 3 Personal Trainer in the UAE, certified by Dubai Sports Council.

Passionate about teaching and driven by a strong will for personal growth, self- development and healing, she began her Yoga journey. Following a serious spinal injury in 2014, along with yoga, she started practicing Pilates as a form of treatment and this helped her recover remarkably. That being said, her journey to recovery has been a true testament to the benefits of movement therapy to her physical and overall well-being.

In 2016, Daphne studied yoga in the Philippines, Bali and Dubai to pursue her love for yoga and further her career. She is certified by the internationally recognized body, Yoga Alliance and has teaching foundations in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha and Aerial Flow Yoga. She has also been certified in Mat Pilates and Barre Pilates Foundations.

Being in the healthcare industry and movement field, she acquired several certifications in manual therapy, corrective exercises, movement analysis, women’s fitness, sports conditioning and rehabilitation, nutrition, functional training and personal training, to name a few, making her an Elite Personal Trainer. She is fascinated with the discipline that involves body and mind through movement sequences inspired by yoga and Pilates, and that inspires her to teach her classes with great success.

More so, she is deeply encouraged by her teaching vocation and interest in bringing wellness in her students and clients’ life. Her positivity and patience along with her inter-disciplinary experience, resulting from years of passionate work and study defines her motivational ability to challenge the students to better their practice through body awareness and mind power.
